PFW Nail Art: Cédric Charlier Fall 2015

More fashion-inspired nail art today, this time from Belgian designer Cédric Charlier at Paris Fashion Week. There was a lot of colour blocking in rich shades, but this super-graphic stripe/colour block dress caught my attention:

I don't feel like I interpreted it all that successfully, but here's my take:

It's a bit uneven because I free-handed the stripes before realizing I could have just used tape for cleaner lines =___=

Polishes used:
  • OPI Alpine Snow (white base)
  • Metropolis at Metrotown orange polish
  • China Glaze Up All Night
  • Layla Pro N.15 Purple Vamp
  • black liquid acrylic paint

I actually like freehanding stripes (it's kind of relaxing because of the focus required?) but got messy having to sort of interlock all these different blocks and stripes of colour together.

Hope you're having a lovely weekend. I went overboard looking up fashion week nail art inspiration, so I have a lot more posts like this left to go!

Hi there! Thanks for taking the time to read and comment! I do my best to reply to all of them within 1-2 days, especially if there is a question. Please be aware that comments containing links may be edited to remove the links or not approved at all.
